In the spring...

Hello Everyone,
I hope you have all had a good week and are  looking forward to the weekend. I am so sorry I haven't been about this week, I just haven't been able to sit down and make a card ...until now...

I had a bit of a wander through Deviant Art and found this little beauty - she is called "In the Spring"and she is a line art drawing by Uglitry Isn't she wonderful? What a talented artist. I love her Manga look and the fact that she is a fairy too, amongst the daffs :)  I have made her into a card for a friend whose Birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks...  ooh, I am not normally so organised, I am dreadful usually at remembering Birthdays so do write them all down, if I can remember where...She is of course, coloured in copics and a bit of stickles.  I edged the papers in "Bundled Sage" Distress ink pad.

OMW, the papers.... I couldn't wait - they were beckoning me to be opened and used ;)  yes, I could hold back no longer and I opened one of the new Prima pads that have just been reIeased.  This one is "Divine" and it really is.  It made me smile just using it, such fabby designs and colours of Spring and Summer.

The butterfly is also new from Prima and is from the "Divine" collection too and the flowers I have absolutely fallen in love with.  I mixed it up a bit and used two of the new "Hello Pastel" rose stems, which also matched the colours of this pad....

All the following items used on this card are from:  My Crafty Heart Store:
PAPERS: New Divine Pad - Prima
FLOWERS:  New Hello Pastel Mini Rose stem - Prima
BUTTERFLY:  New Divine Butterflies ( A pack of 24 ) -Prima
DIES: New Lavish Branch by Memory Box
STICKLES: Stardust
PEARLS: Trinkets and Baubles pearls Melissa Frances;
VIVA DECOR PEARL PEN: Light green (trailing from the butterfly)
DISTRESS INK PAD: Bundled Sage distress ink pad - Tim Holtz

I have popped lots of new crafty stuff  into the shop site this past few days, including new Melissa Frances Enbellishments and her new pad "C'est La Vie" (just gorgeous)...and of course, all the new releases of Prima pads and matching embellies.. I am pleased to say,The latest Winter CHA Saturated Canary stamps should be here the latter part of next week, so looking forward to those!

All that remains is for me to wish you a great evening and see you tomorrow for some Saturday Candy :)

Big Hugs,

xx
